I totally agree with this poster and will take it one step further, there is somewhere out there some jackasses that want to lower the National Ensign to half-staff to celebrate this hero. What did she ever do to deserve such an honor? Did she do a bunch of USO tours to support our troops overseas? Did she serve her country in anyway other than serving her own ambition? I am sorry, but Whitney had a great voice that is all and she died a tragic death. She should be nothing but a precautionary tale of a wasted live. She is not a hero, but rather a sad and bad example for others. I am sorry if this offends, but the very idea of lower flags to half-staff for this self-indulgent drug addict makes me sick. You are free to disagree, but there are a lot of young men and women that have died for their country that have not received that honor, so why does she deserve it.
