Have You Heard the Latest

I knew the time was coming this year when the Republican Party would demand that the Tea Partiers join up or shut up, but I didn't expect it so soon or from some of the people I heard it from this week. I know CPAC is going on and that maybe the reason that the Right Wing of the Republicans is applying so much pressure for the Tea Partiers to roll over and join the Republicans under their leadership. I say fight and tell them exactly why you will continue to stand up to the machine. As long as the Republicans refuse to apologize for their spendthrift was and change who they anoint then we should continue to make them work for our votes.

The fact that Rubio is now the likely winner in FL is a testament to the power of the people over the Party. It was the people that pushed Scott Brown to victory not the Party. Barbarian and I have been saying this for a very long time, we must hold on to our vote and force better choices. We can not just blindly follow the Party line because if we don't force them to give us better choices then we just get more D-Lite vice frugal Constitutionalists. I am a realist and do realize that at some point you have to make a decision and back a candidate, but know is not the time to roll over as we head into primary season. Now is the time to really make your voice heard and run the big spenders out of office from both parties.

I know a lot of you think there is no such thing as a fiscally conservative Democrat and that is because their party knows that they win elections by promising government payoffs to buy their votes, but the real truth is that if they lose election after election then they will be forced to change course. MA serves as a great example of how this can work because do you think the next D candidate from MA is going to be a tax and spend liberal or a more moderate individual in the mold of an old time Democrat not the liberal wings nuts we see today.

We must force both parties back to sanity and put an end to the corruption. We must clean out the career criminals and start a new with people that truly believe that the government is not the solution to every problem and spending (wasting) tax payers hard earned money is a crime. The backroom payoffs is sickening and to the point that they don't even try to hide the fact that they are selling their vote. I say we throw the bums and criminals out and start fresh with people that care about and respect the fact that the money they are spending is not free and currently is coming from a grand children. Generational theft must stop and we must ensure that, regardless of a candidates party, they understand this fact.

There is so much to be pissed about and so many lies and BS coming out of Washington, so we must stand strong and hold our ground. Force the parties to seek us out and earn our votes. I love this country and now is the time to force sanity back into Washington and the only way we do that is to force better choices and if we can afford it put our money where our mouth is and walk the walk. God Bless America and the Republic for which she stands.

A comment for RedState

Since I am currently unable to make a comment on that website, I provide my response to their tossing the Birthers and Truthers off their site. This is an action that I agree with because we are allowed to voice our opinion as we see fit and so are they, but this is the blogosphere and we can do whatever the heck we like. I don't edit or refuse any comments, but RedState felt they needed to lower the boom on crazy and they have that right. If you don't like it then feel free to blog away just don't do it on RedState

Finally there are others that feel as I do about putting a stake in these issues and stand up to the noise. If we truly want to change this country for the better then what does chasing down conspiracy rabbit holes accomplish? Instead why not spend the time dissecting the career criminals in Washington voting records and splashing them all over the web to show how much of our hard earned money has been wasted and/or stolen. Birthers and Truthers had their chances to come up with hard evidence and failed, so move on to other endeavors that may product more fruit and help take out corrupt politicians Washington. I am sure there is enough evidence to get Boxer tossed, as well as Chuck and Harry. We need to let howling go and focus. We need to present a sane unified front against corrupt and graft.

We need to let Washington hear our voice and feel our wrath, by tossing the worst of the worst out on their collective butts using facts. Like how each cash for clunker cost the American taxpayer $50K and who actually benefited from this BS. Or how the trillion dollar health bill amounts to $30K per newly covered individual over the next ten years, which would be better spent giving it directly to the people to buy private insurance rather than have the government take over 16% of our economy. And don't get me started on TARP and the Stimulus.

Deception and Change

It is funny how recently there has been a slew of "birther" and "truther" commentaries. I find all this just a media distraction from the real truth that Obama and his Democrat majorities are failing on all fronts and are being called out on it by the American People. The MSM must drum up distractions from the TRUTH that the great one and his Capitol Hill cronies are going down in flames. It amazes me that these yahoos can't get anything through because President Bush often got things passed without the amazing majorities that President Obama still enjoys today. Sure the super-majority is a thing of the past, but he still has overwhelming majorities in both houses. You would think that with a little compromise the health care bill would fly right through and just about any other pile of crap they wanted. Instead of bribing just Democrats, they could try the TARP method of bribing everyone to buy their votes. Hell, Snow is usually for sale pretty cheap.

I think the "birther" issue would be better served by exposing this air tight seal on every record associated with the great one. Though there is little doubt that at least one of his parents is a US Citizen, thus he is currently eligible for the presidency based on current interpretation of the Constitution. The bigger issue is the rest of his life and what qualified him to run this country into the ground. Where did he come by his utter hatred of all things American and he crazed desire to turn this country into a socialist nanny state. I want to know why he is so afraid of his grades and papers seeing the light of day. I know Hillary's socialist past did her very little favors and her proud proclamation of being a modern progressive sealed her deal. So why are we not treated to the same level of journalistic research that President Bush was subjected to by say Dan Rather?

The elections in November can't come soon enough and maybe this time around enough people will see the dangers of career politicians and toss them out on their collective butts. I also hope they don't just swap one set of career criminals for the other. I have no love for any incumbent and think this country would be better off starting a new with first timers. I know that is crazy talk, but why the heck not. How has doing the same old thing time and time again worked for us. The victory of Scott Brown is a shining light of hope for a new day dawning in American politics. Here is a decidedly middle ground Republican that hopefully is frugal and will work to shrink government spending, but is decidedly not far right on social issues. Scott Brown should know at this point whom he represents and also know that if he fails to deliver on government spending his support will quickly evaporate.

I am a Tea Party supporter in all its mixed up glory and leaderlessness. I do not support either party or any candidate because of their party. I support frugal candidates that want to put and end to the corruption in Washington. That want to put an end to the vote buying in Congress. That want to put sanity back into American politics and start making reasonable decisions, not based on the size of the bribe. I will support candidates that want to turnover this country to our children as one of hope and promise, not enslave them to an outrageous national debt. I love this country and want it to be a light of hope for all the world once again.
